TORONTO, June 13, 2011 /CNW/ - During the current interruption of mail delivery from Canada Post, Hydro One customers can go online to obtain account and billing information.
Hydro One customers who normally receive their Hydro One bill by mail can visit www.HydroOne.com/MyAccount to obtain secure updates, including account balances and payment options. Account balances can be found in the top right corner of every page within customers' safe and secure My Account section. There are other self-service options available online, such as registering with epost to receive bills online.
Customers can pay their bills online by using Internet banking, telephone banking, by automated banking machines or in person at most financial institutions in Canada. A pre-authorized payment option also allows automatic withdrawals from the chequing account of customers who register for this option ( www.HydroOne.com/MyAccount ).
Customers who have already opted for epost will continue to receive their ebills and can pay them electronically.
Customers can also call the Hydro One Customer Communications Centre at 1-888-664-9376 and press 2 to obtain billing and payment information, then press 1 for Account Balance, Due Date, and Last Payment Received.
These measures will help Hydro One customers pay their bills by the required payment date while postal service is interrupted.
