A 30-minute power outage planned in the Orleans area on June 29, 2011 at 2:00 a.m.

TORONTO, June 28, 2011 /CNW/ - Hydro One is advising customers that maintenance work at the Navan Distribution Station early tomorrow morning will require a 30-minute power outage affecting Orleans and the surrounding area. The outage will allow for station maintenance work necessary to improve system reliability. The power interruption will start on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2 a.m. and will be restored by 2:30 a.m.

The planned outage will affect approximately 30,000 Hydro One customers in Orleans, Navan, Cumberland, Vankleek Hill, Rockland, Wendover, Alfred, and North and South Plantagenet. In addition, 3,000 Hydro Hawkesbury Inc. customers will be affected.
