Hydro One power outages due to heavy rains

TORONTO, July 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Hydro One reports that heavy rain in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) has caused severe flooding at its Richview and Manby Transmission Stations in the western GTA.

The Company is reporting widespread power outages as a result in parts Brampton, Toronto and Mississauga.

Hydro One crews have been dispatched and are working to restore power. More updates will be provided as information  become available.
