Hydro One quickly restores power following extreme wind storm

TORONTO, March 10, 2017 /CNW/ - The extreme wind storm on Wednesday caused damaged equipment, downed poles and affected electricity delivery service to more than 142,000 Hydro One customers across Ontario. Hydro One crews have worked around the clock and made repairs to more than 883 outages. Hydro One's customer care centre fielded more than 29,000 outage calls during the storm; making sure customers knew help was on the way and updating them on progress.

"The dedication of our employees to getting every customer restored as quickly and safely as possible is what makes us all proud to be a part of this company."
